Internal Securing Post

$40.00

Only replaceable component: The wall thickness of the internal securing post determines the frangibility of the bollard and resistance against damage. If internal post is bent- it is easily replaceable

  • A Medium Gauge Internal Securing post 3.6 mm wall thickness, is recommended for car-parks and to protect vehicles from damage (poly bollards are also a good ides to reduce vehicle damage)

  • A Heavy Duty 5 mm Internal Securing post can be used to reduce damage to the post if you are experiencing high level of damage using the lighter walled posts (if bollard may be subject to impact from utility vehicles or trucks).

  • A solid steel 60 mm diameter steel rod is inserted if you want to prevent the bollard from deflecting and stop a vehicle in its tracks. (NB: this is stronger than a large 150 mm steel bollard and only suitable for 650 mm depth foundations)
